Thad Grundy, Jr., Managing Director

Mr. Grundy has over thirty-five years of experience in a variety of domestic and international oil and gas matters, including three years as Deputy Assistant Secretary for International Affairs, U.S. Department of Energy, in Washington D.C. He represents mineral owners in their negotiations with oil and gas companies and in researching and resolving title issues and disputes.  He also represents oil and gas companies, service and supply companies, host governments, universities and institutes, international organizations, and financial institutions on international oil and gas issues.

Mr. Grundy has substantial expertise and experience in international energy law and policy, and the general representation of U.S. companies in international business transactions with a particular focus on compliance issues including anti-corruption and economic sanctions. He has worked in all major oil producing regions of the world, with particular emphasis on Mexico, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the former Soviet Union.
