The following is a list of representative cases that we handle involving various international issues:

• Advising oil service and supply companies on anti-corruption, anti-boycott and economic sanctions compliance programs including agreements with third party representatives, codes of business conduct and training seminars for key employees and representatives
• Represented the president of the U.S. subsidiary of a U.K. company in connection with a U.K. corporate investigation involving bribery and corruption in Libya
• Conducted an internal investigation of a U.S. seismic company on possible Foreign Corrupt Practices Act violations related to travel and entertainment expenses for Chinese customers visiting the U.S.
• Conducted due diligence background reviews of proposed third party representatives in Mexico, Venezuela, Brazil, Nigeria, India, Malaysia, and other countries to determine risk of FCPA violations
• Advising a U.S. oil service company on the sale of equipment for use in a drilling program in Russia and possible violation of U.S. and E.U. sanctions
• Represented a Norwegian private equity firm in connection with alleged corrupt activities by a Canadian portfolio company’s Malaysian subsidiary
• Conducted a series of compliance training seminars for a major U.S. oil service company in the U.S., Europe, Middle East, former Soviet Union and Africa on FCPA, economic sanctions, and anti-boycott issues
