Richard Gardner, Law Clerk

Richard serves as a Legal Assitant at Grundy & Associates.  He joined the team in 2015.  His work focuses on a variety of domestic oil and gas work, consisting of reviewing and resolving title questions, completing due diligence, preliminary reviews of leases, and creation of inventories of clients mineral interests. 
Richard is a rising 2L at the University of Houston Law Center who possesses a strong passion and interest for the oil and gas industry.  Richard was recently accepted into the University of Houston Law Center’s and University of Calgary Faculty of Law’s International Energy Lawyers Program. The dual program emphasizes oil and gas law from an international standpoint and allows participating students to earn both American and Canadian Juris Doctors in four years.

Trey Fuqua, Law Clerk

Trey serves as a Legal Assistant at Grundy & Associates. He joined the team in 2015. His work focuses on a variety of domestic oil and gas work, consisting of reviewing and resolving title questions, completing due diligence, preliminary reviews of leases, and creation of inventories of clients mineral interests. 

Trey is currently enrolled in his second year at South Texas College of Law, working towards a J.D. (2018, expected) as well as a MBA (2017, expected). He brings prior land experience from previously working for a local land service brokerage.
